Posting a role

Roles are typically long-term positions with ongoing responsibilities. If your organisational need is for a full-time employee who can handle continuous tasks, a role might be the right choice.

How do I post a role

To post a role, click the "Post a Role" button on the dashboard and follow the simple five-step process to create your role.

Common Questions:

What happens if I select "Assign"?

Choosing "Assign" means the role will not appear on the "Find a Role" page for employees. Instead, it can be directly assigned to an employee without the need for applications.

Role Visibility:

If the role is open to applications, you can control who sees it. Selecting "Department" restricts visibility to employees within the department you’re posting from, while selecting "Organisation-wide" makes the role visible to all employees.

What happens after I post a role?

Once the role is posted, the platform's algorithm will identify and display the best-suited employees for the role. If the role is open to applications, you can invite employees to apply, or they may submit applications on their own if they receive notifications about a role that matches their skill set.

If the role has been posted as "assignment only," assign buttons will appear next to the top five employee matches. By selecting an employee to assign, they will receive a notification of the assignment along with your message and the option to accept or decline the new role.
