Mobilise by Gigged.AI is the work orchestration platform for technology teams. As a client or hiring manager, you use it to turn a project brief into a staffed team: Mobilise breaks the work into tasks and matches each one to the best human skill, AI agent, or blend of both.
This FAQ answers the most common questions. For step-by-step instructions, see the "How to" guides for client users.
About Mobilise
1. What is Mobilise?
Mobilise gives technology leaders one live view of every human skill and AI agent available in their teams, so the right mix can be deployed to every project.
It works inside the tools your teams already use, such as Jira, Copilot and ChatGPT. It deconstructs work into tasks and activities and matches them against a taxonomy of 10,600+ technology skills.
2. How does Mobilise benefit me as a client or manager?
The platform has three core features.
Map. A unified inventory of every human skill and AI agent in use across your function, mapped to the 10,600+ skill taxonomy. Engineers and agents are described in one common language, so you can see where capability actually sits instead of guessing.
Measure. Real-time dashboards on utilisation, skills gaps and agent deployment. You can also connect any AI assistant, including Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT, through the Mobilise MCP and query your data in the tools you already use.
Mobilise. Turn a project brief into a costed, staffed team. Mobilise breaks the work into roles and tasks, then finds the best blend of human skills and AI agents available, in seconds.
When there's a gap your own teams can't fill, you can close it in two ways:
On-Demand Talent: hire from Gigged.AI's 25,000+ on-demand specialists through a statement of work (SoW).
Ready-made agent library: pick a pre-built agent from Gigged.AI's library, matched to the task and skills you need. No build phase or engineering project is required.
The result is fewer unnecessary external hires and professional services fees, managers freed from resourcing admin, and senior engineers freed from routine tasks.
Using Mobilise
3. How do I create a project?
Log in to Mobilise.
Go to the "Mobilise" section.
Describe the project. The more specific your brief, the better the task breakdown and matches. Include:
Deliverables and goals: what the project needs to produce.
Skills required: the expertise and proficiency levels needed.
Timeline: expected duration or deadlines.
Department: the team leading the project.
Submit the brief. Mobilise breaks it into tasks and starts matching.
4. How does Mobilise break my project into tasks?
Mobilise reads your brief and deconstructs the work into roles, tasks and activities. Each task is mapped to the specific skills it needs from the 10,600+ skill taxonomy.
This means you're no longer looking for one person who can do everything. Each piece of work is matched on its own merits, so a project might be delivered by two engineers, an analyst and an AI agent working together.
5. How does Mobilise match each task to a human, an AI agent, or both?
For every task, Mobilise searches your live inventory of people and agents and recommends the best fit. A task can be matched to:
A human: an employee whose skills, proficiency and availability fit the task.
An AI agent: an agent from your registry, or from the Gigged.AI library, that can do the work.
A blend: a person supported by an agent that accelerates their work.
Each recommendation shows an individual match score and a combined score. These show how closely a person's proficiency fits the task, and how much an agent can speed up the work. Senior engineers stop being pulled into work that doesn't need them, and agents are put where they actually add value.
6. How do I review and select matches?
Once your project is broken into tasks, you can review the recommended matches task by task. You can:
View each person's profile, including skills, project history and career goals.
View each agent's details and what it's suited to.
When every task has a match, you have a costed, staffed team for the project.
7. What if a task doesn't have a good match?
You have several options:
Refine the brief: make the requirements clearer or broader, and Mobilise will re-run the breakdown and matching.
Set alerts: get notified when people with the needed skills become available.
Use On-Demand Talent: bring in one of Gigged.AI's 25,000+ on-demand specialists through a SoW.
Use the agent library: deploy a pre-built agent matched to the task.
Managing and measuring
9. How do I manage the work once a project is underway?
You manage the project and its tasks in Mobilise. You can:
Track progress and milestones task by task, across both people and agents.
Communicate directly with employees through integrated messaging.
Give feedback when work is complete.
10. How do I see what's happening across my teams?
Use Measure. Its real-time dashboards show utilisation, emerging skills gaps and agent deployment. You can see who is doing what, where capability sits, and which agents are genuinely being used versus sitting idle.
The dashboards work at two levels. They are detailed enough for day-to-day resourcing calls, and clear enough to drop into a board presentation or procurement review.
11. Can I query my Mobilise data from other tools?
Yes. Mobilise has an MCP that connects to AI assistants including Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT. You can ask questions about your skills, agents and projects without leaving the tools you already use.
Getting the most from Mobilise
12. What kinds of projects suit Mobilise best?
Short-term projects: quickly fill skills gaps on temporary work.
Cross-functional projects: bring in skills from other departments, and agents where they help.
Work that splits into distinct tasks: the task breakdown gets the most value where different parts of the work suit different people or agents.
13. How do I write a brief that gets good matches?
Be clear and specific. List the deliverables, skills and proficiency levels needed.
Describe the work, not just the job title. Mobilise breaks the brief into tasks, so detail on what needs doing leads to more accurate tasks and matches.
Give a realistic timeline, so availability can be matched properly.
Mention growth and skill-building opportunities. They tend to attract more engagement from employees.
14. How do I fit Mobilise into my regular resourcing process?
Make Mobilise your first stop when a new project lands, before looking externally.
Post upcoming projects regularly, even small ones, so employees can see future opportunities and the inventory stays active.
15. How does Mobilise help during rapid change or scaling?
During growth or restructuring, Mobilise shows exactly what capability you have across people and agents. You can quickly redeploy people and agents to where they're needed most, and close any remaining gaps with On-Demand Talent or the agent library instead of lengthy external hiring.
